Founded in 1918 by Aristide Lassonde, A. Lassonde Inc., operating mainly as a canning factory, is Lassonde Industries Inc.’s oldest division. In 1959, Willie Lassonde (father of Pierre-Paul Lassonde, current CEO of Lassonde Industries Inc. Board of Directors) decided to diversify its operations by adding the production of apple juice to the existing vegetable processes. This significant change of direction, this bold vision, was passed on through generations, inspiring Lassonde's constant quest for innovation.
